For those who will not be travelling to Mobile for the Azalea Trail this weekend, you have a local 5k option. Miles for Fallen Heros 5k will be held Saturday, March 27th. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with race start at 8 a.m. Race day registration and the start of the race will be located at the Run-N-Tri store off Cowan/Lorraine Rd. The course is flat and runs through beautiful neighborhood streets. Entry is $20.00 Kevin told me that some of the sponsors providing food and beverages include Chic-Fil-A, Blue Bell Ice Cream and Budweiser. There will also be laser tag for the kids.
