toes falling asleep

Does anyone else have this problem??? My toes fall asleep whenever I use the elliptical or bike. I know I'm supposed to cross-train but this occurs within the first 10-15 minutes on either machine.

Hi- I think you are compressing a nerve in your foot similar to a carpal tunnel symptom in the wrist. Check your shoe fit and see that you are not too tight and if not, you can sometimes get a steroid shot in the foot that is not painful to relieve the compression in that nerve. I work with a hand and foot specialist/plastic surgeon who has done this shot for a co-worker with the same symptoms.
