I've just printed out a schedule for 16 weeks to prepare for the Air Force Marathon Sep 20th. The schedule seems to be a little light on distance though I see a steady progression on the long runs. Could this be because I stated that I currently run 21-25 miles per week? The schedule only provides for running on Sun/T/Th with the off days for rest and XT. I thought I needed at least 4 days and a little more milage. Any other resource to compare? :D

Try Hal Higdon, he has plans for the novice through the advanced.

Thanks Rock--I'd heard of this and the link gives me a preview of the different levels...makes sense to ID which level I'm at and have an appropriate training plan tailored to that. :)

I used Hal Higdon novice for Marine Corp Marathon last October. Was my first one and was able to complete in 4:05. Am going to use it to train for Disney in January too but may step up to intermediate 1.
